Treasures of Montgomery - Photo Shoot Treasure Hunt

Did you receive a map outlining all of the businesses, shops and services in Montgomery? If so, post it on your fridge, or keep it within reach so that the local flavor of Montgomery’s unique shopping and service destinations is always at you fingertips. It is also an extension of the Shop Local.  Shop Montgomery brand. 

Here is where the TREASURES come in.  We are looking for photos of you in Montgomery “shopping locally”. Take a photo of you and your favorite dentist, or ask your favorite salon staff to take a photo of you getting your hair done, your nails painted, or your back massaged.  Or take a photo of a friend picking up an order, buying take-out, fueling up with gas.  Or take a photo of your team enjoying an ice cream cone after the game.  Take one photo - take many - the more entries the more chances you have to win.

What’s in it for you?  A chance to win some great prizes compliments of our Montgomery BRZ business members! Prizes will be awarded for most entries, funniest photo and most creative photo.  Random prizes will also be announced.

16 Avenue N.W. Bridge Rehabilitations - Road Detours

The City of Calgary's Transportation Department is in the planning phase for two bridge rehabilitation projects along 16 Avenue N.W. ―one over Bowness Road and one over Shaganappi Trail N.W.  These projects are needed as both bridges contain components which are nearing the end of their lifecycles.

Transportation has developed an extensive detour plan including lane reversals to allow continued traffic flow through the area during construction.
